Thinking Thoughts

Thinking Thought:  The expert in anything was once a beginner.

Thinking Thought:  Easy is the enemy of ambition.

Thinking Thought: You are what you settle for.

Thinking Thought: You can’t do anything without ‘doing’ something.

Thinking Thought: You can’t learn from those that agree with you.

Thinking Thought: We often can change things by simply changing our mind.

Thinking Thought: Years teach us more than books.

Thinking Thought: The only way to fail is to quit.

Thinking Thought: Your main competition will always be in the mirror.

Thinking Thought:  No Deposit, No Return.

Thinking Thought: Thoughts become things.

Thinking Thought: Better slow going somewhere than fast going nowhere.

Thinking Thought: We don’t know what we don’t know.

Thinking Thought: Every path has a few puddles.

Thinking Thought: Every person in the world knows something you don’t.

Thinking Thought:  Every child is a bundle of potential.

Thinking Thought:  One head cannot hold all wisdom.

Thinking Thought:  Life is what you make it.

Thinking Thought:  Lost time is never found again.

Thinking Thought:  Someday is not a day of the week.

Thinking Thought:  The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Thinking Thought: You can’t listen with your mouth open.

Thinking Thought: The fact that people are doing it is proof that it can be done.

Thinking Thought:  Money buys everything but good sense.

Remote From Others

The Missionary travelled for many days by train, boat, and car to a far away island. As he explores the dreary but somewhat inspiring landscape, he turned to a local villager and said: "You're very remote here, aren't you?" She responded: "Remote from what?"

One Makes A Difference

A small boy was walking along a beach where thousands of small sea creatures had been washed up. During the low tide they all were stranded and doomed to perish.

A man watched as the boy picked up individual creatures and took them back into the water.

"I can see you're being very kind," said the watching man, "But there must be a million of them; it can't possibly make any difference."

Returning from the water's edge, the boy said, "It will for that one."
