Let’s Talk About Freddie Mercury

Let’s begin by saying that Freddie Mercury was one of the most dedicated and hardworking musicians of all time. He was truly a master of his craft, and his work ethic was second to none. Freddie Mercury, born on September 5, 1946, attended English-style schools in India from the age of eight before returning to Zanzibar after finishing high school. In 1964, his family moved to Middlesex, England. Mercury, along with drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May, founded the band Queen in 1970 after years of studying and writing music. He wrote many of the band's iconic songs, including "Killer Queen," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Somebody to Love," "We Are the Champions," "Don't Stop Me Now," and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."
