The Persistent Seedling In a dense forest, a tiny seedling pushed through the soil, surrounded by towering trees that blocked the sun. Here is a good life lesson from a frog.  The careless frog had been hopping around the farmyard, enjoying the sunshine and the freedom that came with it. He had no particular destination in mind, no goal to achieve, just the pure joy of movement. As he hopped around, he noticed a pail half filled with fresh milk. Being a curious frog, he hopped over to investigate. Without thinking, the frog leaped into the pail, expecting to be able to swim to the top easily. But as he began to paddle around, he realized that the sides of the pail were too high and too steep for him to climb out. He tried stretching his back legs to push off the bottom of the pail, but it was too deep. At first, the frog panicked. He didn't know how he was going to get out of the pail, and he began to feel hopeless. But then, something inside him shifted. He realized that giving up was not an option.
