  Old Man Hemlock sat on his porch swing, whittling a piece of wood with calloused hands. Young Timmy, known more for his mischief than his honesty, shuffled nervously before him. He'd broken the Hemlock's prized weathervane with a poorly aimed rock, and now the guilt was eating him alive.
